The Municipality of Majdal Anjar wishes to kindly ask all residents to refrain from firing gunshots in celebration of the New Year, in order to preserve lives and public and private property, under the threat of legal action by the security authorities. The municipality extends its congratulations to all Lebanese people in general, and to the residents of the town in particular, hoping that the new year will be filled with security, safety, and peace for our beloved town of Majdal Anjar and our dear country Lebanon.
