The President of Majdal Anjar Municipality, Mr. Adnan Yassin, participated in a delegation from the Bekaa, led by the Coordinator of the Future Movement in the Central Bekaa, Mr. Said Yassin. The delegation visited His Excellency Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Judge Bassam Mawlawi, in the presence of the Director of the Joint Administration, Mrs. Najwa Souidan, at his office in the Ministry.  

The delegation discussed general issues and the demands of the municipalities in the Bekaa, particularly increasing the municipalities' allocations from the Independent Municipal Fund and releasing the municipalities' overdue dues from the fund. The minister promised to address this request in the 2025 budget.  

The meeting also covered the issue of municipal building permits and ways to ensure the proper implementation of this decision, which is expected to be issued by the minister.  

Furthermore, Mr. Adnan Yassin visited the Director General of Municipalities, Ms. Faten Abu Hassan, where the focus of the meeting was on supporting municipalities and improving the conditions of their employees.
